One of the best things about being a wedding coordinator is the ability to get to know my couples and their families on a much more personal level. As an invitation designer, I get to know the couple (mostly the brides) as much as I can to better customize their invitation suite. However, as a coordinator I get the pleasure of spending the BEST DAY EVER with my couples. In order to accomplish perfection, (well as far as the bride is concerned anyway) I spend quality time with them, learn their likes, dislikes, what they want and what they definitely don't want! The families and bridal party are also a huge part of this process, where they my not be as much when designing the invitations.

The months leading up to a wedding I work with my couples on Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations and Shower Invitations, but the weeks leading up to the wedding we are focusing more on the day of. One of my absolute favorite couples that I had the pleasure of working with was Alyssa & Ryan Knaack.

Alyssa and I connected over a year before her wedding and was referred by a friend for a Day of Coordinator. When we first started working together, Day of Coordination was all that she really needed but as we progressed Alyssa started to inquire about Save the Dates, which in turn lead to Shower Invitations and Thank You Cards, Custom Wedding Invitations AND Day of Stationeries.

I had so much fun working (mostly with Alyssa) and her mom, by the time it came to her wedding I had a pretty good idea what they were expecting. The Wedding Reception was at the Atheneum Hotel in Detroit and I have to say, this place is beautiful! Alyssa was so detailed about what she wanted it was so easy to make sure everything was set up EXACTLY as she imagined.

Alyssa and I have stayed in touch since her wedding and I am so grateful for her, as she has helped me in building this business. I am so excited to see what the future hold for this couple and I look forward to working with again!

Fun facts about the Knaacks

We LOVE to travel! Once of our favorite trips was our honeymoon to the French Ploynesia (Bora Bora and More)
Our favorite pizza is Hawaiian (ham, bacon & pineapple)
We are both practicing catholics
We both have 1 sibling each
In our free time we love to play sand volleyball, disc golf, walk our puppy & ski
